I will forever be grateful to Aimex for the wonderful care they gave my mother in her final years of life. Three Aimex CNAs took turns caring for her 7 days/ week, and without question, made her life as good as it could be, given that Mom had advanced dementia. They were so kind and patient with Mom, even when her dementia worsened and she became harder to take care of, physically and mentally. They always treated her with dignity. But besides kindness, the CNAs knew their stuff medically—how to keep Mom from falling, how to treat her minor ailments, and eventually how to keep her from getting bedsores when she stopped being able to walk. They kept her very clean and nicely dressed. They gave her meals and meds, making sure Mom got enough nutrition when she didn’t want to eat much anymore. They also monitored her fluid intake, to prevent dehydration. They did Mom’s laundry daily, and light housework. They took Mom out of her apartment as much as possible to change her scenery and give her neighbors to interact with. All of that was included in the Aimex basic fee, no surcharges ever. They also kept me well informed of Mom’s status and facilitated my daily video chats with her.
CNA Asha did double duty as my mom’s primary caregiver and also as supervisor of all Aimex caregivers. Asha has a lot of experience from previous work in local hospitals and nursing homes. She gives all Aimex CNAs additional training in the clinical skills she learned that aren’t taught in basic CNA training.
Aimex is a young company but an excellent one, and they charge less than other agencies for the same services. I can say that without hesitation, because before Aimex came along, I had hired several other agencies, not only for my mother, but for two aunts.
We realized that my dad living in Leisure World was become increasingly overwhelmed and needed support while aging in place. I was referred to Asha and her team by a trusted neighbor and I’m so grateful that we found them. In a matter of weeks, Asha and my dad’s caregiver have become like family to us. My very anxious dad completely trusts his amazing caregiver and she is helping him get stronger each day. I get super quick responses to my questions and check-in’s via text with his caregiver which is a lifesaver while I’m at work. They have also been incredibly flexible with scheduling and always find a way to be available when I need them most. I highly recommend Asha and her team, my family couldn’t get by without them.
What a fabulous home care agency! We built a relationship with some of the staff from AIMEX prior to using them as we saw them with their clients in the independent living facility where my mom lived. As my mom developed care needs we started using them first for short periods during the day. After an accident my mom had while I was traveling away, I called on them and they had someone to be with my mom within 2 hours. This was a turning point for my mom, after which she’s needed full care. The staff that works with my mom is so gentle with her, not only assisting and guiding my mom in her daily activities but taking her for walks which is my moms greatest joy. They jump into action when we are visiting and help with household tasks and allowing us to spend quality time with her. They work as a team and help each other when clients become confused and more challenging. We have another family member in another state who needs care and have been unable to find anyone to the level of the staf who work with AIMEX. . I can’t express enough how lucky we feel to have them caring for my mom.
